Sabuwa is one of the southern local government areas of Katsina State, sharing a significant boundary with Kaduna State to the south and west. It is bordered by Faskari Local Government Area to the north and Dandume to the east. The terrain is characterized by the Guinea Savannah vegetation zone, which provides a mix of grassland and woodland suitable for both farming and grazing. Key settlements within the district include the administrative capital of Sabuwa, as well as Damari, Dugun Mu'azu, and Gamji. Its location allows it to serve as a link between Katsina and parts of Kaduna State, facilitating local movement and trade.
