Faskari Local Government Area is located at the southwestern extremity of Katsina State, sharing boundaries with Zamfara State to the west and Kaduna State to the south. The terrain consists largely of savannah vegetation, often described as part of the transition zone towards the Northern Guinea Savannah, and is characterized by flat plains and scattered trees. The climate is defined by a distinct dry season and a rainy season that typically spans from May to October. These environmental conditions are conducive to large-scale grain production and pastoral activities.
