Rogo is a Local Government Area situated in the southwestern part of Kano State, Nigeria. Its administrative headquarters is based in the prominent town of Rogo. The LGA shares internal borders with Karaye Local Government Area to the north and Kiru Local Government Area to the east. Externally, it forms a strategic state boundary with Kaduna State to the south and west, specifically adjoining Ikara and Makarfi local councils. Administratively, Rogo is categorised under the Kano South Senatorial District and contains several political wards.
