Rimin Gado is a Local Government Area situated in the western part of Kano State, falling under the Kano North Senatorial District. The administrative headquarters are centrally located in the town of Rimin Gado. It spans an approximate area of 225 square kilometres across the savannah region of northern Nigeria. The local government is bounded by other prominent LGAs such as Kabo, Dawakin Tofa, and Gwarzo.
