Provides policy direction for the Immigration Service, Correctional Service, NSCDC, the Federal Fire Service and the Citizenship and Business Department, including marriage and naturalisation.

The Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment regulates the workplace, mediates industrial disputes, promotes employment generation, and enforces occupational safety and Nigeria's commitments under International Labour Organization conventions.
It supervises the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), the National Productivity Centre, the Industrial Arbitration Panel, the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies, and the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) which administers the Employees' Compensation Scheme.
Strategic priorities include implementation of the new National Minimum Wage of ₦70,000, social-dialogue with the NLC and TUC, expansion of NDE skills and self-employment programmes, occupational safety enforcement particularly in mining and construction, the National Employment Policy, and labour-migration agreements that protect Nigerian workers abroad.

Created in 2023 to develop policy for ports, shipping, fisheries and coastal resources through the Nigerian Ports Authority, NIMASA, the Shippers' Council and the Maritime Academy in Oron.
Minister: Mohammed Idris Malagi
Manages government communications, public enlightenment and national values through NOA, NTA, FRCN, the News Agency of Nigeria, the NBC and the Nigerian Press Council.
Minister: Yusuf Tuggar (Minister of State: Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu)
Conducts Nigeria's diplomacy, treaties and consular services and represents the country at the UN, AU, ECOWAS, OPEC and the Commonwealth, supported by NIDCOM for diaspora affairs.
