Minister: Ibrahim Geidam
Provides civilian policy oversight for the Nigeria Police Force, working with the Police Service Commission, the Police Trust Fund, the Police Pensions Office and the Nigerian Police Academy.
Minister: Mohammed Idris Malagi
The Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation manages government communications, public enlightenment, national values orientation, and official information channels including partnerships with the media and broadcasting sector.
It supervises the National Orientation Agency (NOA), the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Voice of Nigeria, the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), the National Film and Video Censors Board, and the Nigerian Press Council.
Strategic priorities include the National Values Charter, the Renewed Hope citizen engagement campaign, countering misinformation and fake news, modernising public broadcasting in the digital era, deepening citizen feedback channels, and strengthening transparency under the Freedom of Information Act.

Drives infrastructure, environmental remediation and youth empowerment across the nine oil-producing states, coordinating with the NDDC, the Amnesty Programme and the Ogoni clean-up under HYPREP.

Conducts Nigeria's diplomacy, treaties and consular services and represents the country at the UN, AU, ECOWAS, OPEC and the Commonwealth, supported by NIDCOM for diaspora affairs.

Created in 2023 to develop policy for ports, shipping, fisheries and coastal resources through the Nigerian Ports Authority, NIMASA, the Shippers' Council and the Maritime Academy in Oron.
Minister: Lateef Fagbemi
Headed by the Attorney-General of the Federation, advises government on legal matters, drafts legislation and conducts federal prosecutions, supervising Legal Aid, NIALS and the Law Reform Commission.
