Created in 2023 to develop policy for ports, shipping, fisheries and coastal resources through the Nigerian Ports Authority, NIMASA, the Shippers' Council and the Maritime Academy in Oron.
Minister: Doris Uzoka-Anite
The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment promotes industrialisation, regulates standards and consumer protection, sets trade policy, and drives investment promotion and special economic zones.
It supervises the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM), the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON), the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the Nigerian Office for Trade Negotiations, and the Bank of Industry.
Current priorities include implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the Nigeria Single Window for trade facilitation, the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council reforms, revival of moribund industrial estates, MSME finance through the Bank of Industry, and stronger ease-of-doing-business rankings.

Coordinates road, rail and inland waterways policy through the Nigerian Railway Corporation, the National Inland Waterways Authority, the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology and CRFFN.
Minister: Abubakar Momoh
Drives infrastructure, environmental remediation and youth empowerment across the nine oil-producing states, coordinating with the NDDC, the Amnesty Programme and the Ogoni clean-up under HYPREP.
Minister: Festus Keyamo
Regulates Nigerian civil aviation, airport infrastructure and air safety through the NCAA, FAAN, NAMA, NiMet and the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology in Zaria.
