Geography and Location
Fakai Local Government Area is situated in the southeastern corner of Kebbi State and shares its southern border with Niger State. It shares internal boundaries with the Zuru, Sakaba, and Danko/Wasagu Local Government Areas. The landscape is characterized by savanna vegetation and fertile soil suitable for diverse agricultural activities. The climate follows the typical tropical wet and dry seasons characteristic of Northern Nigeria. Water resources in the region are primarily sourced from seasonal streams and underground aquifers.
Demographics and Culture
The area is home to a diverse population, with the Lelna, also known as Dakarkari, being one of the prominent ethnic groups.
