Kudan Local Government Area is situated in the northern part of Kaduna State, sharing boundaries with Makarfi and Sabon Gari LGAs, as well as parts of Katsina State to the north. The landscape consists largely of Sudan Savannah vegetation, characterized by open grasslands and scattered trees. The region experiences a tropical continental climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. History and Administration
Kudan LGA was created in 1996. Its administrative headquarters is located in Hunkuyi, which serves as the central hub for local governance and civil service delivery. The LGA is subdivided into several administrative wards, including Kudan, Hunkuyi, Likoro, and Garu.
