UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed, Afreximbank President Benedict Oramah, Nigeria’s tax reform committee chair Taiwo Oyedele and other participants said Africa should take greater ownership of how its affairs, achievements and challenges are presented. The discussion focused on strengthening African narratives and reducing reliance on external portrayals of the continent.
