Twenty-five years after the Abuja Declaration, Nigeria and other African nations continue to struggle with achieving health equity. Despite the commitment to allocate fifteen percent of annual budgets to the health sector, the goal remains largely unmet, leaving significant gaps in accessible and affordable medical care across the region.
