NIMC crosses 136m enrolments, moves to make NIN Nigeria’s only official identity

The National Identity Management Commission has surpassed 136 million enrolments for the National Identification Number. Efforts are currently underway to transition the number into Nigeria's primary and sole official means of identification, aiming to consolidate the various existing identity verification systems used throughout the country.
