Nigeria to migrate from consumer to producer of technology – NITDA

The National Information Technology Development Agency says Nigeria plans to shift from primarily consuming imported technology to developing and producing more technology domestically. The proposed transition is expected to focus on strengthening local innovation, supporting Nigerian technology creators and reducing dependence on foreign products and services.
