Mbaise Iriji is cultural festival, not politics – Committee

The organizing committee for the Mbaise Iriji festival has emphasized that the event is a traditional cultural celebration rather than a political forum. This clarification seeks to maintain the heritage of the new yam festival by ensuring its historical significance remains the primary focus, separate from any partisan activities or political campaigning.
