Importing of nearly 80% of building materials unacceptable – TETFund boss

The Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund noted that Nigeria imports nearly eighty percent of its building materials. The official advocated for a shift toward local production to enhance self-sufficiency in the construction sector and reduce the high volume of foreign imports currently used for domestic infrastructure projects.
