Illicit Funds Fuelling Terrorism, Underdevelopment In Africa -EU, EFCC, ANEEJ, Others Warn

The European Union, Nigeria’s Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the African Network on Environment and Economic Justice, and other stakeholders have warned that illicit financial flows are helping fund terrorism and worsening underdevelopment across Africa. They called attention to the security and economic consequences of hidden or illegally obtained funds.
