Hantavirus outbreak not like start of Covid pandemic – WHO

The World Health Organization has clarified that the recent Hantavirus outbreak does not mirror the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Experts indicate that Hantavirus is typically transmitted from rodents to humans, making a widespread global emergency less likely when compared to the highly contagious respiratory nature of the coronavirus.
