Effurun shooting: Era of impunity in NPF is over — IGP

The Inspector General of Police has announced that disciplinary measures will be enforced within the Nigeria Police Force following a shooting incident in Effurun. The police leadership indicated that officer misconduct will no longer be tolerated as the department seeks to improve professional standards and ensure accountability across the national security agency.
