Cross River, Okomu National Parks added to CITES elephant monitoring network

Cross River and Okomu National Parks have been added to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora elephant monitoring network. The development places the two Nigerian parks within an international system focused on tracking elephant populations and supporting efforts to monitor the species and related conservation concerns.
