Court nullifies ARCON’s N60bn fine on Facebook Nigeria

A Nigerian court has overturned a 60 billion naira fine previously imposed by the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria on Meta, the parent company of Facebook. The regulatory body had initially penalised the technology giant over alleged violations of advertising laws, but the judicial ruling has now declared the penalty void.
