CAMA 2020: CSOs Challenge CAC’s Powers Over Constitutional Breaches

Several Civil Society Organizations have challenged the statutory powers granted to the Corporate Affairs Commission under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020. The lawsuit argues that certain provisions within the Act infringe upon constitutional rights, leading to a legal dispute over the extent of regulatory oversight applied to registered entities across Nigeria.
