6 planes cost me $2m to insure, same amount to insure 25 in Europe – United Nigeria Airlines CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of United Nigeria Airlines has identified a significant disparity in aviation insurance costs between Nigeria and Europe. He stated that insuring six aircraft locally costs two million dollars, which is equivalent to the amount needed to cover twenty-five planes in Europe, highlighting the high operating costs for Nigerian carriers.
